FitnessFest is the largest land and aqua conference in the
Southwest! Waterworks offers FitnessFest twice a year - in Phoenix
and Tucson, Arizona. FitnessFest is an event for novice and/or
advanced land and aquatic instructors, personal trainers, mind/body
practitioners, and FITNESS ENTHUSIASTS! We invite the finest
presenters from around the country to FitnessFest and participants
can earn all their Continuing Education Credits in one weekend!

Campus Rec now accepting Bursar Account Charges
Who can charge:
Any individual that is a UA student currently enrolled with one credit or more.
Full time students are automatically members as long as they are taking 4 or more credit hours during the fall/spring semesters and 3 or more credit hours per term, in the summer semester.
Where can I purchase these services?
In The Rec Center (Student Rec Center) at Recreation Services (Business Office).

The Campus Rec building will be closed 8/18-20. This is due to staff training and maintenance items that require the closure of the building. Thanks for your understanding.
The Outdoor Adventures' Office will be closed August 14-22, 2008 for staff training.

Budget Cuts affect Campus Rec’s Hours and Facility Use
Due to the one percent Permanent State Budget cut we sustained this current year along with a one percent increase in our Administrative Service Charge levied by UA Central Administration, The Rec Center will be implementing the following facility schedule reductions and closures beginning July 7, 2008:
The Rec Center and pool will permanently close one hour early on Fridays and Saturdays.
Bear Down Gym and Weight Room will be permanently closed for “Open Recreation.” BD Gym will only be open for Intramurals, Sport Clubs, Special Events and rentals.
All current Bear Down members, as well as Alumni Limited Silver members, will have access to The Rec Center at any time we are open until their membership contract for the year expires.
